Labocosmetica Preludio Acidic – Waterless Prewash Minerals and Limescale

Labocosmetica PRELUDIO Acidic is a pre-wash product for waterless cleaner.

Many enthusiasts or professionals use waterless washing due to constraints or restrictions depending on the regions.

Most of the products available on the market, if not all, are cleaners that will soften the dirt to make cleaning and removal easier, but they will in no case dissolve the contaminants present on the bodywork.

Thanks to its innovative formulation, Preludio Acidic from Labocosmetica will tackle inorganic dirt of mineral origin that requires treatment at an acidic pH to be dissolved and removed.

Unlike neutral or alkaline cleaners, it is specialized in the effective removal of this type of dirt that tends to solidify on the bodywork. A neutral or alkaline product is not sufficient to eliminate this microscopic mineral layer that solidifies and deposits on the paint, and that is where the power of Preludio Acidic is essential.

For example, after a day of rain or snow, the car can accumulate large amounts of inorganic dirt on the bodywork, especially if it is sand rain. This is because water, as it evaporates, leaves mineral deposits that over time tend to form a layer that is difficult to remove.

Major advantage: it penetrates deep into the dirt, dissolves it and lifts it off the surface, which greatly facilitates the waterless washing process and makes it safer. This helps to avoid rubbing the vehicle too hard, risking creating defects. The chemical action takes precedence over the mechanical action.

Good to know: Preludio Acidic from Labocosmetica is compatible with PPF. It will dissolve residues such as mineral deposits, water spots, or other substances that a neutral detergent cannot handle. The acidity of the product breaks the chemical bonds between the dirt and the surface of the PPF, allowing the film to be purified without damaging it and to restore the hydrophobic properties.

Its main purpose is to prepare the surface for a subsequent waterless wash (Waterless) or with a minimum of water (Rinseless) using IDROSAVE.

Types of dirt removed:

• Mineral residues: Often caused by hard water, mineral residues can leave marks and stains on the surface of the bodywork, which an acid prewash can remove.
• Limestone deposits: Like mineral residues, limestone deposits can form due to the evaporation of water on the bodywork and leave whitish stains.
• Rains loaded with minerals, such as sand rains, can leave permanent marks if not treated in time. An acid prewash can neutralize and remove these stains from the bodywork.
• Industrial dirt: Particles and residues from industrial facilities can settle on the bodywork, making it dull and dirty. An acid prewash helps dissolve and remove these particles.
• Surface oxidation: Although it does not act as a specific paint restoration product, an acid prewash can help reduce the appearance of surface oxidation.
