HEADLIGHT RESTORATION KIT

STEP 1 - Use of the Easy Buff Pad & PlastX

1. Insert the Easy Buff restoring pad rod into your drill.
2. Apply a small amount of PlastX onto the restoring pad. Place the pad flat on the surface to be restored and hold it firmly.
3. When the drill is running, make a back-and-forth motion crossing the passes while keeping the pad flat to avoid splashes.
4. Wipe off the residue using a microfiber.
5. Repeat the process until the desired clarity is achieved.

DRILL SPEED: A high speed provides a better result in terms of restoration and polishing but makes it more difficult to keep the pad flat on the surface. It is recommended to adjust the speed of your drill according to the condition of the surface to be restored.

If defects persist, then proceed to STEP 2.

STEP 2 - Use of sanding and finishing discs

TIP: Protect the areas adjacent to the headlight with masking film.

The discs are numbered on each side from 1 to 4

1. Soak the discs in a glass of water for one minute.
2. Slightly moisten the lens by spraying water.
3. Apply disc 1 (grit 1800) to the headlight and sand the surface using horizontal movements.
4. Once an opaque haze appears over the entire headlight, apply disc 2 (grit 2400) using vertical passes.
5. Then apply disc 3 (grit 3200) using horizontal passes followed by disc 4 (grit 4000) using vertical passes.
6. Wipe the headlight with a microfiber.
7. Finally, return to STEP 1 to achieve a perfect finish.

Important

The kit only restores the outer surface of the lenses. Stains, oxidation or moisture marks inside the lens cannot be removed.

The Easy Buff pad is washable by hand with a cleaning product (soap, detergent…)
