The Fixative i7 LEATHER is designed to provide high-performance adhesion in order to optimize the grip of pigments, dyes, and repair systems on leather and related surfaces.

Its professional formulation reinforces bonding on difficult, closed, smooth, or glazed leathers, as well as on synthetic materials such as skai or PU.

Thanks to its stabilized composition, the Fixative creates a controlled, thin, and flexible adhesion bridge that significantly increases pigment durability while preserving the original texture of the substrate.

It is applied exclusively before pigmentation, in a thin and even layer. It is never mixed with pigments: it acts as an independent undercoat.

It is a particularly useful product when the leather has:

• a smooth, shiny, or glazed surface
• an original pigment film that is difficult to grip
• deterioration causing a lack of porosity
• a very closed feel, typical of premium automotive leathers
• a synthetic coating requiring "priming" (skai, polyurethane)

The Fixative evens out the leather’s surface tension and improves cohesion between the substrate and subsequent layers. It prevents delamination, peeling, or pigment lifting — a common issue on steering wheels, bolsters, and areas constantly handled. The fixative layer remains flexible, microscopic, transparent, and does not alter the elasticity or comfort of the leather.
