Description

The i7 Leather Repair Paste is a professional repair putty, specially designed to fill cracks, micro-crevices, scratches, weakened areas, and micro-defects in pigmented leather.

Its technical formula, flexible yet resistant, allows the surface to be evened out and the damaged areas to be reinforced before pigmentation, recoloring, or finishing.

Thanks to its composition, the repair paste (technical filler) offers excellent adhesion, good flexibility, and quick drying. It is designed to be highly compatible with i7 LEATHER pigments, ensuring perfect integration into professional repair operations. This putty is versatile: it acts both as a repair putty and as a surface filler, allowing the treatment of both visible defects and micro-alterations.

It can be applied in successive thin layers, sanded, smoothed, and textured.

The precise reconstruction of the grain is done only with the i7 Leather impression kit.

The i7 LEATHER REPAIR PASTE is developed to meet the needs of professional repairs on pigmented leather.

This putty offers a dual technical function:

REPAIR PUTTY: To correct open cracks, shallow or medium crevices, scratches, weakened areas, and light material gaps. Applied in successive thin layers, it structurally strengthens damaged areas.
SURFACE FILLER: To even out slightly scuffed grain, smooth micro-defects, eliminate the “broken grain” effect, and prepare the surface to receive pigments. Thanks to its flexibility, it follows the movements of the leather without creating stiffness.

Important: this paste alone is not intended to reconstruct the grain; the textural reconstruction is done exclusively in association with the i7 LEATHER impression kit.

The i7 Leather leather repair paste is available in 6 colors: black, beige, white, cream, gray, and brown.

Product usage

Follow these simple steps for an effective repair of your leather seats:

Preparation of the i7 Leather leather repair paste

Ready to use: No mixing or dilution required

Usage tips for the i7 Leather leather repair paste

Carefully clean and degrease the area (Leather Soap, Hard Soap or Solvent depending on the condition). Make sure the surface is clean, matte and perfectly dry.
Take a small amount of repair paste (choose the paste color closest to your leather).
Apply a thin layer using a precision spatula i7 Leather and work in the direction of the area to be repaired, filling only the defect.
Let it dry for about 20 to 30 minutes.
Lightly sand to even out (grain 220, 320, 600, 800 to 1200).
Repeat the operation in thin successive layers for deeper repairs.
Once dry, the repair paste is ready to receive:

i7 LEATHER Pigment (sponge pad) for recoloring.
Finishing pro to seal the repair and provide lasting protection.
Top Coat Matte or Glossy i7 Leather, which is a finishing varnish to achieve the desired effect.

Important to know

Always work in the shade, on a cool surface, and do not let the product dry.
