i7 Leather Finishing Pro is a high-performance solvent-based protection, designed to securely preserve leather repairs, recoloring, and finishes over time.

Its premium and protective formulation forms a transparent, flexible, and highly resistant film. This protective film gives leather increased resistance to friction, abrasion, liquids, dirt, and daily wear. It acts as a final shield, essential after the application of a pigment, repair paste, or i7 Leather Topcoat.

Water-repellent, UV-resistant, stain-resistant, and stabilizing, the Finishing Pro offers long-lasting protection while preserving the appearance, suppleness, and feel of the leather.

The Finishing Pro is designed as the ultimate protective layer of the i7 LEATHER system.

Its composition allows for rapid evaporation and the formation of a homogeneous, thin, and extremely durable protective film.

Its main functions:

Enhanced mechanical protection: The formed film limits abrasion, friction marks, premature glossing, and micro-erosion of the underlying pigment or topcoat.
Active water-repellent barrier: The treatment gives the leather increased resistance to water, liquids, marks, and humidity, preventing dirt from penetrating the material.
UV protection & color stabilization: FINISHING PRO reduces photochemical degradation, protects the original shade, and prevents natural dulling caused by light.
Final sealing of the i7 LEATHER system for pigments, repair pastes, topcoats, new / well-maintained leather, creating a final shield that maximizes the durability of the entire process.
Universal professional finish: Compatible with automotive, furniture, and leather goods applications and much more, it perfectly meets intensive-use needs (steering wheels, side bolsters, armrests, seats, sensitive areas) as well as large surfaces (seats, backrests, panels, sofas…).

Use
Ensure that the surface is perfectly clean, dry, and free of any residue (dust, solvent marks, moisture, or unpolymerized pigment). Finishing Pro must be applied on a stabilized and completely dry surface: a still damp substrate could trap moisture under the protective film and alter its effectiveness. Also make sure that the pigmentation, repair, or previously applied TopCoat are completely dry to the touch.

Apply in a fine, even, controlled mist, never loading the surface: Finishing Pro is designed to form an extremely thin protective film; its effectiveness depends on a light application.
With a sponge pad: spread the product in continuous movements to deposit a uniform film. Then use the clean side of the sponge (not soaked) to smooth immediately and remove any possible excess. This action ensures a perfectly even finish, without streaks or shiny areas.
Always work while moving constantly, without staying too long in one spot to avoid overlap marks.
The rapid evaporation of the solvents requires a dynamic and even application.
Finishing Pro dries mainly by solvent evaporation, a very fast process thanks to its high volatility.
The average drying time is 10 to 15 minutes, depending on temperature, ventilation, and amount applied (during this phase, do not touch the surface or go over it again: a coating in the drying phase becomes fragile and prone to marking).
Once dry, Finishing Pro forms a transparent, resistant, invisible film perfectly integrated with the surface. It does not alter color, texture, or feel when properly applied in a fine mist.
Maximum protection is achieved after about 2 hours, once the film is fully stabilized.

Always work in a ventilated, clean area away from any ignition sources. Good ventilation also facilitates even solvent evaporation and improves the quality of the final film.
