Description
Alta Cuir Fixatif aqueous matte is a varnish for leather that provides a matte finish.
It is applied after recoloring the leather. Its main purpose is to help the color adhere by fixing it.
At the same time, it deposits a protective layer that increases the leather's resistance to rubbing, impacts, and abrasions, provides a more natural feel, and gives a matte finish.
It is essential to apply the fixative to new and/or clean leather.
Wait for the fixative to dry completely (6 hours) before touching the treated surface.
Available in 200ml, 500ml, and 1L.
Good to know: The fixative comes in satin and matte versions to meet all needs.
For small repairs, you can also opt for the fixasoft aerosol (satin finish).

Product usage
Use
- Application with a roller:
- Shake the bottle of fixative
- Apply evenly in a thin layer with your roller.
- Wait until this first layer is dry to the touch.
- Apply a second thin layer.
- Let dry for 6 hours without touching the leather.
- Application with a spray gun (ideal for large surfaces):
- Pour the desired amount of fixative into the tank of your spray gun.
- Spray vertically with successive 2-second presses at 30cm from the surface.
- Let dry for 30 minutes.
- Apply a second layer horizontally.
- Let dry for 6 hours without touching the leather.
