Description

Carpro Cquartz SIC is the latest ceramic from the brand.

For 10 years now, the Cquartz range has appeared at Carpro, showcasing protections. This SIC therefore arrives just in time to brilliantly celebrate these 10 years of research and development. It thus succeeds the TiO2 and allows going even further.

This ceramic protection therefore logically integrates silicon carbide (SiC), hence the very evocative name ;)

In fact, the SIC offers better resistance to chemical product attacks (pH 2 to 13) and to limewater spots (water spot). In addition, its application is even simpler.

In terms of finish, it also results in greater smoothness and increased depth.

Finally, the durability of Carpro’s SIC is about 18 months for a two-layer application.

Available in 30ml and 50ml kits including:

1x CQuartz SiC vial (30 or 50ml depending on the chosen option)
1x applicator block for suede cloths
4x suede cloths 10x10cm

Product usage

Dilution
None.

Use

Prepare the vehicle beforehand according to best practices (prewash, wash, decontamination and correction).
Just before applying the SIC, degrease the panel with the Eraser.
Place one of the suedes on the applicator block then apply a few drops of SiC onto the suede.
Apply to an area of about 50x50cm, crossing your passes (left to right then top to bottom).
Let the SIC bond for 3 to 5 minutes (adjust depending on temperature) then wipe carefully.
Apply a second layer 24h later to maximize all the effects of the SIC.

Important
Always work in the shade, on a cool surface and do not let the product dry.
Regularly check the temperature of the surface on which you are working.
Do not use the Reload as a top coat during application or in the days that follow (no issue however for use during periodic maintenance).
Use gloves and safety glasses if needed.
